Infrastructure

What Is IT Infrastructure?

Information Technology infrastructure includes a set of components that are the basis of an IT service. These components are the physical components (such as the computer, networking hardware, and facilities), the network component, and the software component.

What Are The Components Of IT Infrastructure?

  • Hardware:
It includes hubs, routers, switches, data centers, servers, and a host of others.
  • Software:
Customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) programs are good examples of software used.
  • Network:
Covers firewalls and security, internet connectivity, and network enablement.
  • Peopleware:
This includes network administrators (NA), developers, designers, and end-users with access to any IT appliance or service that is also part of an IT infrastructure, specifically with the advent of user-centric IT service development.
